TRANSFORM YOUR LIFE
Where r u today is a reflection of wat u haf always believed abt yourself and life words, you create your own reality. "But," I hear u splutter,"I don't want this crummy job, i don't want an uncaring bf, and i don want to be fat! How could I possibly have created something i do not want?"
Therein lies the key. Wat we focus on in life becomes larger. So if u're constantly whining abt wat u don like, have or want, this is exactly wat u r going to continue attracting and manifesting in your life.
Tot is a vital, living force; it moves, it creates n it can work wonders in your life-but only if you enrtertain the rite tot. So, for instance, if u r overweight and have feelings of poor self-esteem, u r unlikely to reach ur goals even if u diet n exercise like a fiend. Y? Because of ur feelings of unworthiness n ur constant negative tots abt how u look.
If you keep telling yourself u're fat n ugly n u cringe each time you look at urself in the mirror, ur subconscios mind is going to continue to hold on to tat perception n sabotage all your valiant efforts to slim down.
Your mind is designed in such a way tat it helps to create more of wat ur tots r focused on, It isn't hard to imagine that successful people like Bill Gates, Dr Condoleezza Rice and Oprah Winfrey don't waste their time engaging in negative self-talk.
CULTIVATING MIND POWERObviously however, controlling our tots isn't easy. It requites discipline, perseverance and training-much like physical exercise. if you've never run in ur entire life, u cant suddenly go out and expect to complete a marathon. You'd have to start off with slow to moderate exercise n gradually build up your stamina to point where u have e strength to run 42km. More than physical strength however, you require mental fortitude. For it is e mind alone tat determines how successful we are going to be at anytink in life.Like to participate in, wat u stand for, e ppl u would like to attract into ur life, e kind of work tat inspires u, ur special talents n skills, how u can make a mark on e world n how u can advance the cause of humanity as a whole.
Okay, the latter may sound like a tall order n absolutely terrifying in this universe and everything we do affects one another. So you may nt be inclined to volunteer as an English teacher in some remote Indian or Ethiopian village, but perhaps u could rmb to be nicer to everyone who crosses ur path: The lady who cleans ur office, e salesgal at the supermarket, e neighbour who brings u chicken soup when u r unwell, ur family members who support u e best they can, despite their own issues.
POSTIVE AFFIRMATIONSComing bcak to ur self-image, if ur overweight, you need to 1st accept urself as u r n love urself. I'm sure u've heard e oft-quoted phrase tat goes, 'if y don't love urself, you can never love anyone else.' In our Asian context, it may seem inconceivable to 'love urself', but loving oneself is more abt having a positive self-image than abt arrogance. If you don believe in yrself, no oune else will. And you need a combination of faith, confidence n discipline to attain any measure of success in life.
So begin by writing down wat u would like to be n have. Once u r clear abt wat u wan, create some positive affirmations. It is not enuff to say, ' I don't want to be fat' or 'I want to be thin'. A positive affirmation is a powerful statement of intention. Thus, 'I am slim n health','I eat sensibly' and ' I have fun exercising' are more powerful statements tat will help u attain ur weight-loss goals.
But u have to review wat u haf written down several times each day for these affirmations to actually become a way of life for you. In fact, saying them out aloud, at least twince a day, will help even more than just reading them to urself from a peice of paper, which u should carry around wif u all e times. They have to become a force of habit and u haf them to take effect. Your mind has to be able to visualise these goals before it can help u create n mainfest when u want in ur life.
If u can do this every day for even one mnth, u will being to notice a change in e way u feel abt urself n how u perceive life as a whole. Why? Because positive tots vibrate at a higher frequency than do negative tots. Indeed, everytink in life, including our tot, is made up of vibrating energy. If u've ever noticed how someone gives u 'good vibes' or 'bad vibes', you r already aware of wat this means. And who are u r naturally drawn to - the person send out good vibes or the one wif the bad vibes?
WE ARE WHAT WE THINKTots of fear, hatred, jealousy, insecurity and worthlessness vibrate at a lower frequency than do tots of love, kindness, totfulness, confidence n joy. Ever noticed how ppl who r in love seem to glow? Tat's because they're filled wif tots or pure love, ectasy and confidence. Sadly for most ppl, this state doesn't last long. They give in to their insecurities, fears n bad habits, and fall out of love with their partners, thinking mistakenly tat the other party has changed or that we were too blind to notice the truth before...
That is why it is vital for us to fall in love wif ourselves 1st. For only then can we stay in this stat on a permanent basis and draw all the rite tinks, ppl n cirucumstances into our lives. Each positive emotion empowers us and e ppl around us. And every tot is repeated over n over again, builds up a pattern within our subconscious mind. This pattern of vibrating energy has an incredible effect on us. As Gandhi said:

because your words become your behaviours.

because your behaviours become your habits.
Keep your habits positive,
